Key Features & How It Works

Here are the important features of the Tube Classic:

Brightness:

It can get quite bright. There are several power modes: low, normal, and “turbo” or high mode. 

Runtime:

From what one sunny day of charging gives:

* On low power mode it lasts up to ~48 hours. 

* On higher brightness modes, less time – e.g. normal mode or turbo mode will reduce that runtime. 

Solar charging:

It has an integrated solar panel, often with a cable so you can mount the panel in sunlight even if the tube light is inside. The solar panel charges the internal battery during daylight. 

Battery and power management:

Uses a lithium‑ion (or NMC) battery. It has power‑management features: when the battery is low, it will automatically drop to low power mode to preserve lighting. 

USB charging:

It has a 5V USB port (with adapters) so you can charge mobile phones and small USB devices. 

Multiple light modes:

Usually there are at least three brightness levels: low, normal, turbo. Users can choose depending on how much light they need vs how long they need to preserve the battery
